                      White Pine Book Award

The White Pine Book Award was created to celebrate Canadian fiction written for

young adults. The program encourages high school students to read for pleasure.

All Mclaughlin students are invited to participate in our White Pine reading

program. Students who read at least five of the ten nominated books will qualify to

vote for their favourite.  Voting will take place in the library from April 21-April

23. 

Voting for the 2010 White Pine Award closes on April 23, 2010

 

NOTE:

Previously nominated White Pine books are stored in a special area in our school

library.  Come in and sign out some excellent novels.  The year each book was

nominated and the winner for each year is clearly marked on the cover of each

book.
